“Do not go gentle into the good night” is a 6 page narrative depicting incredible feats of human ingenuity in modern history, accompanied by the titular poem by Dylan Thomas. Each page focuses on the highest heights and the lowest lows of the planet’s surface, mastery of power and forces once beyond comprehension, and snapshots of people from all walks of life raging against the dying of the light. There is also a conscious effort to highlight lesser known and minority figures, like Ana Bertha Ludwig and the African American soldiers manning the USS Mason defense submarines during World War 2.
